Archie E Saxton Sr. of Portland, TN was born on April 10, 1958 to Benjamin Franklin Saxton and the late Cora Marie Saxton. He served in the United States Army and later became a truck driver. Archie united in Holy Matrimony to his lovely wife Deborah Jean Saxton. He loved Grilling, Riding his bicycle, watching sports. Archie will be long remembered by the family whom he cherished, the friends he adored and the many people whose lives he touched. Those links in the family chain remaining to cherish his memory are one daughter Sherita Saxton (Portland, TN), Two sons; Mitchell Saxton and Jeremy Saxton (Portland, TN), Four sisters; Martha Penn (Nashville, TN), Joyce Priddy (Mayfield, KY), Anna Saxton (Mayfield, KY) and Linda Saxton (Russellville, KY). Five brothers; Benjamin Saxton Jr (Mayfield, KY), Thomas Saxton (Mayfield, KY), Curtis Saxton (Mayfield, KY), Mark Saxton (Cadiz, KY) and James Saxton (Mayfield, KY). 

Visitation will be Saturday April 1, 2023 from 10:00AM to 11:00AM at the Franklin Funeral Directors Funeral Home Franklin, Ky. 

Funeral Service will be Saturday April 1, 2023 at 11:00AM at the Franklin Funeral Directors Funeral Home Franklin, Ky. 

Burial will be at Sulphur Springs Cemetery Franklin, KY
