Betty Lynn Patterson

Betty Lynn Patterson was born October 12, 1951 in Simpson County Franklin, Ky to the late V. K an Alice Henry Watts Patterson. Betty was 1969 graduate of Franklin Simpson High School. Betty joined Elevated Baptist Church at an early age, where she was a faithful member under the leadership of Rev J. J Northington. She was an active member of the choir, the finance committee and an usher. Betty loved the lord and she loved church. Her working career began at Potter & Broomfield, Dana Corp. Betty was united in marriage to the late James (Jimmy) Spencer in 1981. She is also preceded in death by her brothers Jackie, Johnny, Terry Lee, Billy Ross, James Frank, Carl Allen and Dennis Patterson, her sisters Shirley Ann and Evelyn Patterson. She leaves to cherish her memory her brothers Steven, Mark Edward (Jamie), William Clark an Dr. David Patterson. Her sisters Elizabeth (Joe Billy)Barbee, Genevieve, Bobbie Jean Patterson. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and host of very special friends including Gloria Edmonds, Stella Smith and Debbie Barnett. 
 

Visitation will Thursday May 11, 2023 from 11:00AM to 1:00PM. Funeral service will follow at 1:00PM. 

Burial will be at Shady Rest Cemetery
