Edward Darnell Hall was born May 15, 1956 in Simpson County to the late William Mason and Evelyn Hall Robey. Edward to his family and friends was known as “Darnell”. After attending school in Franklin, Kentucky Darnell gained employment at Globe, Package Unlimited, and the City of Simpson County. Darnell was a member of Elevated Baptist Church and served as a Deacon with his church family. He enjoyed community activities such as fishing, dancing with family and friends; and loved to spend time with his grandchildren. You could always count on a “smile” from Darnell and a joke. On May 3, 2025, Darnell found his path of Glory at the age 68

 

Darnell was preceded in death by his brothers: Ronnie Lewis Robey and Bennie Wilson Starks. His sisters, Vickie Joe Paige and Charlotte Juanita Hayes. 

He leaves to cherish his memories behind his sister, Brenda Lockhart of Franklin, Kentucky daughters, Okemia Williams and Cherry Phillips, several sons, Erik Phillips, Adrian Donte Nolan, Devin Phillips, Paul Phillips, Jared Phillips, and Edward Mason Hall all reside in the state of Kentucky, along with a host of grand-children. He is also survived by two aunties, JoAnn Jenkins, and Wilma Jean Williams-Odom, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

As we gather our thoughts and memory of Darnell let us hold on to the memories of how he displayed his love and affection to his family and friends.
