Helen Lavinia Robey Davis was born December 27, 1928 in Franklin, Ky to Mordecai Robey and Floreda Burr Robey. She is preceded in death by her late husband Rother Davis. She departed this life Thursday October 17, 2024 in Hendersonville, TN. She was the 8th child of 12 children: the late Margareed Rigsby, the late Roscoe Robey, the late Gladys Bradley, the late Hezekiah Robey, the late James Robey, the late Phillip Robey, the late Mildred Spencer, the late Doris Robey and the late Mary Frances Tarrence. She accepted Christ in her life at an early age at  Pleasant View Baptist Church; where she also was educated at the  Pleasant View School House. She was also a faithful member of Portland Memorial Baptist Church in Louisville, Ky for many years where she served the church and the community in various capacities including Dare To Care Pantry. She had 4 children: Jackie (Donnie) Burris, Deborah (Ronald) Bell, the late Karen (Peter) Moses, and Ronald Davis (Crystal Wilkinson). She spent many years in the workforce including working for General Electric where she retired. She enjoyed traveling, playing cards, cooking large meals, and spending time with her family. She leaves to cherish her loving memory One Brother Henry Robey (Boston, Massachusetts), One Sister Shirley Edison (Louisville, Ky), 13 grandchildren, 26 Great Grand children and 2 Great great grandchildren. As well as a host of loving nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
