Obituary
Jonathan Wesley Townsend was born to Shelly L. Townsend and the late Troy F. Townsend on August 29th, 1996 in Davidson County, Nashville Tennessee. Jonathan graduated from Logan County High School in 2015. He was baptized at Star of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church under his late Great Grandfather, Rev. George Lee Clemons Sr. He later became a member of Bridge Hill Missionary Baptist Church where he served in the choir. He was a free spirit and a joy to be around. Jonathan enjoyed cooking, singing, and making people laugh. Jonathan was called home on January 16, 2023 in Louisville, Kentucky at the age of 26. To cherish his memories he leaves behind his Mother, Shelly Townsend (Logan Co.), One sister, Aaliyah Townsend (Logan Co.), Grandparents, William and Linda Mckinney Jr. and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday January 25, 2023 at Alpha Missionary Baptist Church Franklin, Ky from 11:00AM to 1:00PM. Funeral Service will follow starting at 1:00PM. Burial will be at Townsend Grove Missionary Baptist Church Russellville, Ky.
