Lillian F Wells

On January 30, 2023, Sister Lillian went home to be with Jesus. Lillian F. Wells was born on February 21, 1946 in Logan County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late James A. Grady and Susan M. Finch Grady. She was united in marriage to Roy G. Wells for 52 years until her departure. She was a member of Townsend Grove Missionary Baptist Church where she served as the Vice President of the Usher Board and also served as an Usher. She was the president of the Russellville-Logan County NAACP. She was also the president of the Circle Five Union District Women Auxiliary. She was a former employee at the Logan Memorial Hospital where she worked as a Nurse Aide and Physical Therapy Aide. She also worked at the Adult Daycare. She was proceeded in death by her parents, Sister; Alsa L. Garrett and Niece; Katie Shultz. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband Roy G. Wells (Russellville, Ky), Her son Gregory (Sonya) T. Grady (Atlanta, GA), One brother John T. Grady (Springfield, TN), Two step daughters Deborah Taylor and Glenda Ogueji (Russellville, Ky), Two sisters; Nancy (Charles Edward) Bigbee (Russellville, Ky) and Betty Vickers (Lake Charles, LA). Three grandchildren LaToya Grady (Russellville, Ky), Hunter and Raegan Grady (Atlanta, GA). Two great grandchildren Ke'in and Jai (Russellville, Ky). Eight nieces; Debbie, Ann, Marie, Norrice, Jennifer, Betty, Angela and Amber. Nine nephews; Wayne, Monroe, Charles David, Thomas (Tuck), Monty, Dion, Marcus, Stacy and Stephon. A host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. 

Visitation will be at Townsend Grove Missionary Baptist Church Russellville, Ky on Friday February 3, 2023 from 11:00AM to 1:00PM with the Funeral Service to follow starting at 1:00PM. Burial will be at Townsend Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
