Morris Barker Jr of Greensboro, NC was born on Saturday July 29, 1939 to the Union of Morris Barker and Bennie Mae Taylor in Adairville, Ky. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Agnes Downey of Franklin, Ky. 
Pete, as he was known by many married Bird Ella Holland on June 7, 1958. After, 35 years of marriage, Bird Ella (Birdie) preceded Pete in death on May 5, 1993. They have six children Larry Barker (Nashville, TN), Roger Barker (Ellen) of Peoria, AZ, Bennie Newby (Ray) of Greensboro, NC, Selita Brasher (Harold) of Greensboro, NC, Ella Williams (Chandler, AZ) and Juanita Skirvin (Brian) of Tempe, AZ. 

Visitation will be Saturday January 14, 2023 from 11:00AM to 12:00PM at Townsend Grove Missionary Baptist Church Russellville, Ky. Funeral Service will begin at 12:00PM.
