Jerry Taylor

Jerry Taylor

Vice President/Licensed Funeral Director

Jerry grew up in Simpson County to the late Louis Taylor and his surviving mother Frances Taylor. Jerry is a proud father of two kids and also two grandchildren. Jerry is a life-long member of Friendship Logan Missionary Baptist Church. Also a member of the Gentlemen's Unlimited Club of Franklin KY , Par Makers Club of Bowling Green KY and The Chamber Of Commerce of Christian County. He attended Franklin Simpson High School where he graduated in 1989. After graduation he received his Electrician License under the leadership of the late Charles McCutchen Sr. Besides working at the funeral home he is still currently employed at Unipres USA as a Maintenance Tech where he has been for 28 years. When not working Jerry enjoys Golfing, Riding Harley Bikes, spending time with his grandkids and any number of outdoor activities.


Terry Taylor

Terry Taylor

President/Licensed Funeral Director

Terry grew up in Simpson County to the late Louis Taylor and his surviving mother Frances Taylor. Terry is a proud father of one daughter (Kaylee Taylor) who is now enrolled at John A. Gupton Mortuary School. Terry is a life-long member of Friendship Logan Missionary Baptist Church. Also a member of the Gentlemen's Unlimited Club of Franklin KY, Par Makers Club of Bowling Green KY and The Chamber Of Commerce of Christian County. He attended Franklin Simpson High School where he graduated in 1989. After Graduation he received Electrician License under the Leadership of the late Charles McCutchen Sr. Terry furthered his education at the Southcentral Technical and Community College and earned his Mechanical Engineering Degree. Besides working at the funeral home he is still currently employed at Unipres USA as a Maintenance Tech (Lead) where he has been for 27 years. When not working, Terry enjoys Golfing, Riding Motorcycles and outdoor activities.


Tim Ward

Tim Ward

Embalmer

Tim is a resident out of Bowling Green Ky. He is a 1979 graduate of Kentucky Mortuary and Science as a Funeral Director and Embalmer. He is a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Harlan. In his spare time he enjoys remodeling and outdoor activities.


Frances Taylor

Frances Taylor

Secretary

Frances grew up in Logan County to the late Raymond and Ella Lee Mason. She is the 3rd oldest out of 11 children. Frances Taylor was united in marriage to the late Louis Taylor where 4 kids were born Fran, Terry, Jerry and Jonathon Taylor. She is the grandmother to 5 Grandchildren and a Great Grandmother to 2. She is a life-long member of Townsend Grove Missionary Baptist Church. She is the only African American farm owner that still exist on the South side of Simpson County known as Taylor Farms that has raised beef master cattle also raised tobacco crops. Frances has overseen the Funeral Home in Franklin KY for the last several years.


Mercedes Taylor

Family Grief Support

Mercedes grew up in Simpson County. She is the proud daughter of Jerry Taylor. She is the mother of 2 children. She is the oldest of 5 Grandchildren. Mercedes is a member of Townsend Grove Missionary Baptist Church. She received her license as a Lash Tech. She is currently employed at Franklin Funeral Directors Funeral Home. She is in charge of family support


Jonathan Taylor

Jonathan Taylor

Unlicensed Funeral Assistant

Jonathan grew up in Simpson County to the late Louis Taylor and his surviving mother Frances Taylor. Jonathan is a proud father of 1 son. Jonathan is a life-long member of Friendship Logan Missionary Baptist Church. He attended Franklin Simpson High School where he graduated in 1991. After graduation he furthered his education at Tennessee Technical School. Besides working at the funeral home he is still currently employed at ABB where he has been for 25 years as a Maintenance Supervisor. He enjoys Hunting, Fishing, Playing Golf and any outdoor activities.


Charles Cosby

Unlicensed Funeral Assistant

Charles grew up in Bowling Green KY. He is married to Peggy Carter Cosby and they have 2 sons with several grandchildren. Charles served in the US Army. He is a life-long member of Alpha Missionary Baptist Church. Charles is a original member of the Guiding Stars Trio, Power of Praise and other singing groups around Kentucky. He is also a member of the Masonic Lodge and previously was a member of the Gentlemen's Unlimited Club. Charles has been with the Franklin Funeral Directors Funeral Home for many years. He enjoys singing the praise of God at different churches and events.
